Dog days of summer

Hey!
Remember me? It's been busy here lately. Mom went on vacation for a week and we spent good quality time with aunt Rory. Then Mom came home and her cousins showed up. That was okay but I wanted just mom! She was so busy with company that she didn't give us much attention. Mom seemed happy to have visitors and she said it was great to see them but what about me?? Of course Buddy was a love hog and I got ignored. Then the cousins left and we got a great surprise. Momma Renee showed up. I couldn't believe it. I ran right to momma beth and barked my head off. It was soooooo exciting. Momma R stayed a few nights, took us for a walk, loved us, rubbed my belly and then left ;( But Momma B says she is coming back tonight for a few more nights. I won't believe it till I see it.
So that is what is happening. Besides all of the company, mom has taken us for a few walks. Last night she started walking and just didn't stop! We walked for an hour. I thought she'd never get us home. Buddy of course had to pee on everything and then pooped... 2 times. He never poops so the fact that he pooped twice is hard to believe.
Mom mentioned that we are going for a car ride tomorrow. Something about the vet. I hope that's not the guy that sticks that thermometer thing in the wrong end. I hate that guy. I hope there aren't any shots involved because while I don't really know what those are... I seem to remember they aren't good.
Okay. I'll write more after our busy weekend.
