Loves & Hates

It's Saturday! We just got back from a nice long morning walk. I love morning walks!! They are always longer than the evening walks because mom isn't as tired. As we were walking along, I was thinking about all the stuff I love and Hate in life. Since my opinion on things matter more than anyone elses... I'm going to share those things with you;
* I love when I wake up in the morning and mom rubs my belly. She flips me over and I act all scared, but I'm not. And then she rubs my tummy. She kisses my head and sings her good morning song to me. The perfect way to start the day.
* I hate when Buddy gets more lovin than I do. He just begs more. He'll get in mom's lap and she'll hold him like a baby and rocks him. How pathetic. He seems to like it and mom talks baby talk to him. I'm just disgusted by the whole thing.
* I love when there is water in the ditch and we are walking by it. I jump in the ditch and stick my tongue out. I run along splashing in the water with my tongue hanging out and then I jump onto the sidewalk and leave cute little paw prints.
* I hate when we go to the park and irresponsible dog mom's and dad's have taken their dogs off the leash. Even though there are big signs that say "All dogs must be on leashes". Then the dogs run up to us and I get a little scared. Mom freaks out and we have to leave. Can't these people read? Even I know what the sign says and so does buddy... because it has a drawing of a guy with a dog on a leash.
* I love the anticipation of the walk. Mom comes home from work and we start to wonder.. are we getting a walk. She goes to the bedroom and changes clothes.. could it be?? then she puts on sneakers.. I think it might happen... and then she finds plastic bags... are those for poop? and then... She get the leashes!!! Yippee! It's going to happen!
*I hate the neighbors cats that sit in the driveway. There are like 4 of them and they just sit there. They aren't even scared of us. They don't even bother to move when we walk by. Lazy cats!
* I love when mom drops food on the floor when she's in the kitchen. She acts like it was an accident but I can tell half of the time she did it on purpose.
* I hate when dogs or people walk by my house. Don't they know it's my house.
*I love when mom gives us chewy bones and buddy gobbles his down in 2 minutes but I'm smart and I hide it for later. Then when Buddy is done, I pull it out and eat it in front of him. He is so mad. He doesn't realize it is the same bone and he thinks I got an extra one. He's not the smartest.
*I hate when I hide my bone and then I forget about it. Then buddy finds it and eats it. He might not be smart but he's sneaky.
*I love when we go for a walk and everyone says "Good morning" or "hello" or smile at us.
*I hate mean people.

Okay... that should do it for now. I'll review and add more on at a later date. We are starting the painting now. Soon... a real office for mom!

It's too dark outside!!

What the heck is going on? It is getting too dark, too early outside. I don't like it one bit. I liked it when we could go for walks at 8 pm. Now, if mom's not home by 7pm she's like... It's too dark. Well then get home earlier!! After all we are much more important than her stupid work. Sorry I didn't update over the weekend. Mom was gone and aunt Rory wouldn't sign me onto the computer. It made me very grumpy. Mom went down to LA to visit some friends from college. She said they had fun, drank good wine, ate good food and watched stinky football. We hate football! why would she go all the way down there to watch football. They must have forced her to watch it. We got Aunt Rory for the night which is always good. She gives us lot's of dog lovin.
Besides that, not much else going on. Mom had her review this week. She said it was good. I told her I'd write a review for her.... 1- Exceeds standards on feeding us. 2- Meets standards on dog walks (we would like them to be longer!) 3- below standards on doggie lovin- we need it constantly. She seems to think it's okay to sit on the sofa and not pet us non-stop.
I've decided that we aren't watching any more political stuff in this house. It's gets mom too upset. She spends a lot of time yelling at the TV during the debates. Something about Sarah Palin being the spawn of the devil. She even told us that she heard she shoots dogs. I just don't believe that.
This weekend is going to be all about painting the office (Which she was suppose to do 2 weeks ago :( ) and dog walks. I'll write more later. For now I need to growl at buddy because he's doing his begging thing.
