How can it only be Wednesday? I want the weekend to get here. On the weekends, mom is home with us. During the week she goes to that dumb job. Why can't she just stay home and play with us?
Not much new stuff these days. Mom is still fighting her cough. Most of the cold is gone but the cough still lingers. She's woken us up every night coughing. I need my beauty sleep.
We had a nice walk today but yesterday no such luck. It's dark by 5:30 these days and yesterday mom didn't get home until 6:30. She said.. Too late. I wanted to bite her.
Mom lit a fire in the fireplace the other night. it was delightful. The 3 of us stretched out on the Chaise, Buddy on one side and me on the other. We watched a movie and snuggled. it was the perfect evening. Mom said it was slightly pathetic.
I'll write more this weekend.
